The City is predominantly located and well placed on the International Map and needs no introduction at all. Surrounded by the states of Haryana, Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh, it has a rich history and is an attractive tourist destination. Business & Leisure facilities are in sync with the modern times. It is the seat of Administration of India. In short, the city caters to the varying requirements of all its visitors

Please find below a brief note on Harijan Sevak Sangh – (The Main Organiser of this Ramkatha)

Founded by Mahatma Gandhi in 1932 in protest against the evils of Untouchability, the HSS has been working for the upliftment of the so-called down-trodden & weaker sections of the society following Gandhian Ideas & Ideals. It is interesting to note that the Constitution of HSS was penned down by Gandhiji himself. Being the Mother of all Gandhian institutions, the organisation has been engaged in disseminating the message of Peace, Love Fraternity, Universal Brotherhood & Inclusiveness not only within the country but overseas as well. The premises of HSS in Delhi is hallowed with memories of Gandhiji & Kasturba, as it is here where both of them had stayed in the 1930s & 1940s and still houses the building (now a museum).

On the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Ba (Kasturba) & Bapu (Gandhiji), HSS has invited & requested Morari Bapu to speak for 9-days on “Manas-Harijan” which will commemorate on 24th of September (also known as the Sadbhavana Diwas or the Poona Pact Day) and conclude on 2nd October’ 2019 (150th birthday of Gandhiji).

Delhi is very well connected by Air (Both International & Domestic), Rail & by Road.

For movement within Delhi – Taxies including OLA & UBER, Buses & Auto are available in abundance and eases to a great extent. Metro is a very convenient mode of transport which usually helps its passenger avoid the road traffic.

For the Ramkatha venue – The nearest metro station is G.T.B.Nagar on the yellow line (about 10 to 15 minute walk to Katha Pandal). Please note that the G.T.B.Nagar is the very next station after the popular metro station of Vishwavidyalaya (Yellow Line)

Distances between one point in Delhi to another is quite a bit as the city is well spread and Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram & Faridabad forms the outer periphery of Delhi NCR. Please click the link to access the map of Delhi –
