Tromsø Airport is the third largest airport in Norway and is an international airport.
Travel From Europe
Please note that there are limited direct flights to Tromso from various European destinations, however there are several daily flights from Oslo. The flight time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes from Oslo to Tromso.
Oslo flights from the UK are available from London airports and Manchester. Non-stop flights take around two hours.
Travel From USA
From New York approximately a 13-16-hour flight with 1-2 changes.
Travel From India
From Ahmedabad approximately a 16-hour flight with 2 changes.
From Mumbai approximately a 17-hour flight with 2 changes.
From Delhi approximately a 13-15-hour flight with 1-2 changes.

Transport
Taxi
It takes approximately 10 minutes by car from the airport to Tromsø and taxis are readily available at the airport and will cost around kr200 during the daytime on weekdays. A higher fare applies on weekends/at night.

Shuttle
The Flybussen (Airport Express Coach) runs between the airport and Tromsø City Centre, with stops at several hotels in the centre, the University, and the University Hospital. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes, and the price for a ticket is around kr110 (single) and kr160 (return).
Bus
City bus routes 24, 40 and 42 run between the airport and Tromsø City Centre. Tickets can be purchased from ticket machines or in the app Troms Billett, or on the bus (cash payments in local currency (kr) only if you buy the ticket on board the bus).

All the Ram Katha attendees are required to make their own stay arrangements. Lunch and dinner for all Ram Katha attendees will be provided at the Radisson Blu Hotel. We kindly request that you only book the Radisson Blu Hotel for guests attending the Ram Katha for the full 9 days.
