ABOUT VIPUR & THE RAMKATHA:
Virpur is a village where the renowned saint Pujya Shri Jalaram Bapa was born. He was popularly known as “Bapa”. Enchanting the Ram mantra “Roti ma Ram chhe” & feeding the poor and hungry was guiding principle of his life. Many people now a days have a bidding faith in him and believe that their vows are fulfilled; so many people visit the place where he resided to pay homage and respect. His personal belongings are kept there. People also have the darshan of Ram, Lakshman and Sita who were worshipped by Pujya Bapa.
Pujya Jalaram Bapa’s jagya (shrine) is one of its kinds in the world which is not accepting any offerings since February 2000.
Virpur is also often visited by thousands for its Annakshetra, started by Saint Shri Jalaram Bapa & Pujya Virbai Maa.
