Shukratal, also known as Shukteerth, is a sacred and ancient pilgrimage site in the Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, situated on the banks of the holy Ganga. It is traditionally known as the place where Sage Shukdeva narrated the Shrimad Bhagavatam to King Parikshit. It is also known for the sacred Akshay Vat and remains one of the revered pilgrimage destinations in North India.
