Travel Information

  • Distance from Nairobi to Kericho: Approximately 260–280 km (about 4.5–6 hours by road).
  • Domestic flights from Nairobi to Kisumu is also an option. Distance from Kisumu to Kericho is 84km (1 hour 40min by road).
  • Most attendees are suggested to travel by road in buses or hired vehicles.
  • The roads are scenic and pass through lush highland landscapes.
  • International travellers residents or non residents – MUST have Yellow Fever Cards.
  • Travelers to Kenya must obtain a pre-approved Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) online at etakenya.go.ke before booking their journey.
  • Processing Time & Fees: Generally, takes up to 3 working days. Fees are paid online and are non-refundable.

  • You may encounter light drizzles, especially in the mornings or evenings, so it’s advisable to carry warm clothes, sweaters, and a light rain-resistant jacket.
